Cells and Safety Systems
Cells
The Robot Cell is something you’ll find almost anywhere that you find robotics, it is where the robot stays and where all of the periphery equipment is stored to serve the robot’s needs

Robotic cells are basically boxes where the robot is stored on the production floor. You can see that this robot cell has special walls to protect workers from the intense light that welding causes!

There are two different types of robotic cells, *Custom* cells are built to customer specifications and allow for the limitations and challenges often found in an industrial setting. They are ideal for applications a standard work cell would not be able to perform.
*Turnkey Cells* are fully integrated pre-engineered solutions. They install in minimal time and offer the advantage of proven success. You can buy them and pretty much drag and drop it into your factory!
Automated Safety
Safety is one of the most important parts of Robotics as a field and their implementation into the workforce
Light Curtain Activated
Light Curtain Activated
One of the coolest innovations in safety is the Light Curtain, this is an invisible laser that can detect when humans are inside of a work cell or in a certain area, and prevents anyone from being near a robot that is moving. The light curtain takes data from the laser being interrupted and will deactivate the robot if someone is too close
